Laptop Ban On Flights in USA &UK
he world struck with wonder when amazing news broke that the US and UK both have aTnnounced new carry on restrictions banning laptop on specific flights, purely on the basis of intelligence reports.According to the latest update from US media ''A cabin of an air craft contain electronic devices was confirmed by intelligence terror threat to US flight.In addition to this US reliable sources says that there is Islamic state group which is directly involve and working to smuggle explosive material on to planes by hiding this explosive with in the electronics devices .This confidential matter was disclosed by the US and was confirmed by them as a credible information. According to the US Department of Homeland security ban.aforesaid ban is implemented on nine airlines operating out of ten airport in 8 countries.Medical devices and phones are exempted from this ban.Two days meeting is being held under the US Secretary of state Rex Tillerson in which officials of 68 nations are participating to draw a conclusion in the scenario of said threat from Islamic State group.
It is expected that this Washington meeting is a golden opportunity for the Trump's administration to put its stamp permanently on world war against terrorism,insurgency and the aforesaid Islamic militants groups.As you know that security ,peace, and defense are the hallmark of government's policies.Keeping in view this scenario it is also good chance for Rex Tillerson to put his stamp on foreign policy with full full devotion and dedication. More over US Department state elucidates that the main agenda of this meeting is to enhance the struggles and efforts to eliminate and eradicate the left over malicious plans of this group particularly in the city of Mosul in Iraq and similarly in the city of Raqqa in Syria.Already US president Trump also claimed in this regard that in order to abolish the group he has a plan which is confidential and secret.On the other hand Pentagon is strictly adhere to the Obama's policies and strategies in this regard that are supporting and cooperating with local ground forces to obliterate these evil groups.Only possible way to support local forces is to increase US military involvement and participation both on intelligence basis as well as physical basis.
In an interview with well reputed TV ABC,a Democratic member of the House named Mr Eric Swalwelll disclosed the mystery of this ban on laptop in the following words
'' There is a new aviation threat for us .we are already very familiar that our enemy.terrorist group with in USA and out side USA is trying to bring down a US bound airline,which is their ultimate targets.In response we are putting our best efforts to prevent that from occurrence '' In the same way ,Peter King who is the member of that committee replied to the New York Time in this way-this ban is promulgated on the basis of purely intelligence information that are fairly recent.Similarly BBC security correspondent Frank Gardener added by saying that ,This ban is based on on the evaluation of intelligence report.In the light of aforesaid discussion we com to the conclusion that it is possible that US intelligence has already intercepted conversation of terrorist plot or there is also probability of passing words of one by human informant in any way.
Airlines Under The Ban
First step in this regard was initiated by USA and in the same way following the foot steps of USA The British announced the same ban just after hours.UK in the same way like US put the ban but applies to different airlines .including Easy jet and British airways.It includes all those passengers who flight to the UK from

(2) Saudi Arabia
(3) Lebanon
(4) Tunisia
(5) Jordan
(6) Egypt
As we can see above almost all the countries are Muslim majority populated countries.According to the new ban smart phone is exempted from this ban where as larger device more than 16 cm-into-9.3 cm is not permitted in aforesaid flights.Similarly tablet along with laptop also comes under the jurisdiction of this ban .Now lets have a look at those ten airports which have come under this ban by US government.

To impose and implement said ban the deadline of 07:00 GMT have been fixed in order to promulgate it in true spirit and enthusiasm on Saturday and this ban had no end date.But according to the statement given by Emirates Spokeswomen that these US directives and instructions would be effective since March,25 and its validity is up to October 14,2017.It means that the USA &UK have implemented ban on laptops,e-readers,and almost any other electric device except phone in cabin luggage.US ban is applicable to ten airports across the glob but it is very strange and amazing that Dubai international airport is the world busiest airport,that is also included among those airports which comes under this bane but contrary to this UK excluded Dubai from this list and included six countries only.
As compare to UK the rules and regulations of USA are wide ranging which have direct influence and effect at all the things except a phone.According to the US ban policy '' Any electronics devices bigger in size than a smart phone will not be permitted and authorized to be carried on board ''.If having ant thing larger than smart phone ,that will have to go under the process of luggage checked procedure.But the quite strange thing is size of device which is not defined properly,however it is compared with the smart phone size.The US department of Security has given a list pertaining to the banned items which is appended below for public information.

Moreover there is ample ambiguity regarding the some large phones like Phablets and iphone 7 plus etc.In this regard DHS says that majority of the passengers are well aware of the size of device.UK has given very clear dimension and parameters regarding the devices,according to the UK maximum size is 16 cm and length is 9.3 cm and depth 1.5 cm.This is the criteria render by the UK but as regard USA there are little bit confusions and ambiguity and need some sort of clarification and justification It is expected that in near future US will clarify the accurate dimensions and parameters for the convenience of passengers.In addition to this DHS further added that ,these airports are selected on the basis of current on going terror threat but did not elucidated it in full detail.It might be expected that more airports are included among the list of ban airports in near future.
