Vahana, self-flying electric air taxi --- 2020

There is no doubt that traffic congestion is the big problem of big cities across the world even including populated cities of the advance and developed countries.In order to solve aforesaid problem ,the making of flying vehicle is very important step which will definitely reduce the traffic congestion as well as its transportation will be cheap and affordable.Although the idea of flying vehicle is very attractive and charm full but along with this there are some preservation like safety issue which is need to be resolve on priority.
This project has been given the name of ''Vahana ''The head of the autonomous system of airbus A3 named Mr Arne Stoschek disclosed some points regarding said project vahana and airbus.He told that it is expected that due to this air bus A3 our company will resolve the issue of traffic congestion reasonably with the help of this self piloting,flying vehicle.All these information were revealed in San Jose during the Nvidia's GPU tech conference.As i already told you in this article that traffic congestion is a universal and common problem all over the world and this problem is going to be spiral up rapidly with the passage of time.Consequently there are a lot of its adverse effects being observed day by day like reduction in productivity,wastage of time,increase in general pollution and demand and use of more energy are the factors which have jeopardize the situation overwhelmingly.In order to solve this delimma urban planner as well as government putting their best efforts by building new and wide roads like motorways but the said problem remains same as it was.
According to the statistics figure obtained from Uber Stoschek revealed that a trip commencing from San Francisco up to San Jose is approximately 56.9 miles,it takes nearly 1 hour and 40 minutes with a car but same distance bu using flying vehicle or car or aircraft ,it would cover 43.3 miles just with in only 15 minutes,and in this way we can certainly save a lot of our precious time .According to the guess and estimate of Uber the net expenditure and cost of this trip would be only $43 for near term and $20 for long term.It is very strong rumor that air bus is under the process of development as Vahana and its respective test if flight this year
Basically Vahana flying vehicle is prepared as a electrically given powered along with tilt rotor and this aircraft has ability to land at heliports instead of main airport.More over it has capacity of minimum one passenger and maximum two passengers.This air craft can travel approximately 60 miles at the speed of 140 mph.It is also expected that its range would be enhanced with the modification and improvement in its respective battery .Stoschek further revealed that Vahana aircraft will have a perfect and full scale flight probably at the end of this current year 2017.
Some people supposed that this idea of multitude of pilots is nearly impossible due to many reasons and causes,like requirement of vast and enough space in the vicinity of aircraft but according to the Stoschek same problem can be resolved by utilizing same concern technology which is being made for self driving cars or autonomous car.Now let us come to the brief description of its specification as well as main features.This air taxi is provided with a camera along with Radar and also lidar sensor which plays a crucial role in rendering a sphere of exact 360 degree of awareness.Just like the self driving car this air craft is also facilitated with the a computer which process the related sensor data and recognizes the hurdles in the respective way of air taxi.
He further added that this air craft is without brakes as it does not need brakes but as regard self driving cars these required same brakes.The basic purpose of computer is to show about other objects like birds. around the air craft More over during the presentation ,he also told that how this technology is helpful and favorable in identifying objects like birds in a flock at a very far distance. Stoschek also agreed to the fact that available computers have insufficient power to meet the requirement of self piloting vehicle like vahana and these computers need to become more and more powerful to fulfill the requirement of these air crafts because here every watts along with every ounce plays an important role.But in the light of on going elctrical power development and advance technology it is expected that by the year 2020 world would be in a position t o have sufficient required hardware as well as software for the all type of air craft like Vahana.
