UNEMPLOYMENT

Basically unemployment is a term related to economics,Employment,means occupation,profession and even any job is also included ,in other words to be engaged and busy in doing some thing productive is also employment.So unemployment means absence of employment or we can say that jobless,without work or even no business also form of unemployment.When the people have no work to do they are said to be unemployed.Unemployment is a world wide problem and it has become a global crises.Not only developing countries but also developed, rich and advanced countries like USA,UK,Germany and France etc suffer from unemployment.In the Asian countries particularly Pakistan,India,Bangladesh and Nepal,unemployment is at its highest peak.

It has been proved that unemployment is social evil possessed  far-reaching consequences.It renders starvation,disease and death and a lot of other social lapses,abuses and absurdities on its victims.They have no civilization,education,no culture,therefore no concern for right and wrong,good and evil.Ultimately,dishonesty,corruption,crime,sin and vices of all kind prevail rapidly in a country where population is unemployed on a large scale.Politically unemployed nourishes and breeds discontent in the masses.At the occasion of elections Votes are sold and bought.Revolution and mob violence,bloodshed,daily protest are the consequences  of unemployment.People remain busy for maximum time  in finding out jobs for them and cannot pay attention to their right and duties as responsible citizens.More over,when a majority of population is unemployed,no effort to enhance the national income can succeed.

There are a lot of reasons of unemployment all over the world depending upon the specific domestic situation and condition of that country,now i will throw light on the most crucial and vital causes of unemployment only in the developing countries particularly regarding the subcontinent in the scenario of their peculiar internal environment. 

(1) Their system of education does not full fill  their current needs and this should be exactly according to the requirements of  respective country.Much attention is paid to general and liberal education or non-technical education.Subcontinent consist of advancing countries and need skilled and technical hands institutions including all type of schools,colleges,and universities.The teaching institutes producing a peculiar type of young men who do not like manual labor.They are good for nothing except reading books and dreaming of high status in society but practically they are burden over the country.

(2) These countries are not much advanced in industry.They cannot absorb all young men merely in factories.More over they are not skilled due to non-availability of technical training institutes.

(3) In these countries a few privileged persons or industrialist are keeping all the key industries to them and these people have full authority and monarchy in their countries. If work and leisure are equally distributed,all men will have enough of work and enough of leisure.But the educated young men and common men have neither the capital to invest nor the opportunities to try their luck in business.

(4) Similarly in these countries  birth rate is very high and over population is the major restriction in the way of their progress as well as main cause of unemployment.The resources of a country are insufficient and inadequate to maintain  and to meet the requirements of such a large population.The strength of People are more and jobs are a few.Certainly its result is unemployment.

Now at the end let me disclose what is the rate of unemployment in my homeland Pakistan,now i will show you a brief picture of Pakistan regarding this on going topic.Keeping in view the consequences of this evil,the government of Pakistan is taking serious steps to reduce this riddle. In this country already running 23 employment exchanges for its people.The National men power council  runs a National Employment Bureau which create awareness and helps the Pakistanis to obtain jobs.Recently many youth Employment services have been established .They provide vocational guidance and help to young people and co-operate with them in searching jobs according  to their desire and ability.More over Labor department has set up many Technical Training Centers in different cities,at various places and in addition to this,some more are being under process.But in spite of all this much more is required according to the population of country.Huge production and out come must be stepped up in the field of agriculture because Pakistan is basically an agricultural country and it has the largest water canal system.Industry is the back bone of progress in this era and this sector plays a significant role in the rapid provision of jobs in a country. The country should be industrialized to provide new channels of employment.In the same way no body can deny the importance of education,the concept of education should be changed with the current and on going scenario of the world.Never let the wealth heap up in a few hands and Planned distribution of wealth should be ensured by all means.Over population is a bomb for any country,Population must be kept within reasonable in control and limits.It is only possible after a long  time unflinching and constant struggle that we can get rid of this evil.
