SMUGGLING IS A SERIOUS CRIME

Smuggling is a black business of today and one of the greatest evils of modern times.Smuggling is defined as it is an illegal process to carry things illegally into or out of a country or without paying the custom duty.Some times it happens that  in one country or province or city a thing is cheaper than it is in an other country or province or city .Usually there are commonly  restrictions and ban  on the transfer of such things without the permission of government  but the smugglers despite ban, take the risk and continue their black business.They carry cheap things at low prices to a country where they are sold at high prices.The favorite articles of smugglers are valuable things including gold ,silver, opium, ,radios ,transistors ,costly watches,fountain pens,tape recorders,all type of electrical appliances and accessories and costly clothes of high quality.Despite putting best efforts by the respective government  to eradicate smuggling,the business goes on without any restriction and obstacle.

There are many causes of prevalence of smuggling but four of them are very crucial and sensitive.First of all the lust of wealth i mean to say the desire to become rich and rich just over the night works at the root of smuggling.As we already familiar that this is an era of competition and a man is valued and judged by his financial condition and wealth.So every body have utmost desire to be richer than the other.Legal business yields money but gradually and slowly.Every one know that inflation is touching the sky and one cannot survive with fair means, consequently one has to adopt illegal and wrong means to become rich and wealthy .Smuggling is risk but it is a wrong short cut because it brings money in no time,Secondly there is a great difference between price of commodities and things in a country or province or city and its price in the other country or province or city.Particularly the prices of gold,silver and opium vary at different places according to the domestic condition and situation of that country and global market.Apparently smuggling promises huge amount of profits and money.Thirdly the smugglers belong to strong and well organized group.They have a lot of inexhaustible funds of money and hidden accounts along with,cars,jeep,steamers and even armed ammunition at their disposal for their protection and security.Strict disciplinary action must be taken against these defaulters at an appropriate level in order to nip the evil in the bud.Actually there  is a lack of proper arrangements to check this black business.Land and sea custom departments are not playing their positive role and they are poor in resources.Lastly the role officers cannot be ignored because it has been observed frequently that the corrupt officers accept bribes and let the smugglers escape consequently it becomes nearly impossible to stop the smuggling.If ant authority takes measures against these officers,in response they either resign or flee away to protect themselves from iron hands of law and force.

In the scenario of aforesaid discussion it is concluded that Smugglers are the greatest anti state element and most dangerous enemies for a country.The loss and harms afflicted by smuggling are countless as well as alarming.Smugglers can easily devastate the national resources along with national wealth,and the national economy.The wealth of one country flows to the other in a illegal way.Smuggling of the gold alleviate the gold reserves in a country as a result the currency rate of a country began to down fall.This bad practice of smuggling also creates many absurdities and evils for instance the smugglers commonly began to offer large bribes to the custom officers as well as to the police officer to save themselves from law enforcement agencies.In the same way some are tempted for illegal co-operation and help the smugglers by neglecting them.The prices of the things smuggled to the other countries,rise up and consequently people have to face the inflation.A smuggler is in actual a worst enemy of country because he does not bother and spare even his own country.Smuggling is the black practice because it does afflicts countless economical and financial loss to the country. 

In order to eradicate and eliminate smuggling,the smugglers should be brought under law and strict disciplinary action must be taken and these black sheep should be made example for other culprit.This is the only solution to purge country from such type of lapses,vices,absurdities and abuses.The staff custom and the police can play a significant role on the border by performing their duties with full devotion,dedication and sincerity.The people living with in the vicinity of boarders and in the premises of borders should co-operate and co-ordinate with law enforcement agencies to eliminate these rascals.We should try our best to avoid purchase of smuggled thing on low prices for the sake of country.Not only this but also we should at once inform the government if we come to know that such and such person is involve and participating in smuggling.If we want to make ours progress by leaps and bound then we should up root smuggling from the country.Certainly it's consequences would be very fruitful and enviable.
