Generally Interview is defined as it is a face to face interaction for a job in government or semi government or even in private sector .It is basically consists of conversation.The interview is the only method which is  the most widely accepted method for selection of different candidates, inspite of subjectivity of the interviewing process.Interview means a interaction and conversation between the interviewer and the interview to judge and assess the capabilities and  potentialities of candidates for a particular job. More over the Interview is a special device for the final selection for a large number of jobs.
Even for a number of competitive examinations including c.s.s.and p.c.s,and for recruitment to the government and semi government jobs, all candidates are required to appear for respective an interview 

No body can deny the fact that it is an era of  competition and significance of interview cannot be segregated from this competition,in other words competition and interview both are correlative with each other.We can say that it an ultimate touch stone for judging and assessing the personality,confidence and the educational level of a person.It  has become an essential part and parcel of man's daily routine life.It is an instrumental device or a procedural method of self expression which enables him to make his distinction and superiority over others.It is specific way of communication in which the interviewee tries his best to create a favorable impression on the interviewer.

As i told earlier that it an era of tough competition ,if a candidate puts his best efforts and  good impression creates in the course of interview,ultimately it supports a candidate to stand out and capture chance to get education in a better educational institution including school,college or university.Finally ,it supports him to get a good and reasonable job if he wishes to take a job or obtain good business if he desires to be on his own.

In addition to this it is evident  that in this age  of competition ,only the eligible,hard working and  fittest survive.The value and need of Interviews have become more  and more than ever before.Even the whole humane life ,has adopted the form of a series of interviews.Any one of these interviews  who seeks to get through must be exalted with one's best.It is commonly said that Success begets success .Opportunities help men to grow and  develop their best selves.make their own marks,be content and happy and cause others to be glade and  happy.

Interview is  a science as well as an art at the same time.A good interview takes time to prepare and it does not just happen suddenly .It is the result of the conscious and unconscious hard work of long months and even some time  years.To obtain enviable result in an interview ,a man must strive to master the proper preparation to increase the average meeting good,the good to better,and the better ultimately to best.

An interview always gives the perfect and best picture of candidate Maximum knowledge can be learnt regarding a candidate in a brief interview as compare to his answer book on different subject.An essay or article of interest can better be guessed or judged at a glance than through written statement of its academic qualifications in its absence.A better judgement can easily be taken during an interview because it calls forth and discloses all the faculties and potentialities of human personality and as such is more important and revealing than the written test.It is possible that one may be extra ordinary intelligent and successful in answering written questions may not be desirable otherwise

Now a days the interview has become back bone  and essential ingredient  of every important sensitive and  competitive examination all over the world particularly in Pakistan,India and Bangladesh.After completion of written papers,the successful candidates have to appear for  interviews,of a certain number of top most successful candidates are held to decide finally about their fate.Viva voice is also form of interview which bring the exact picture of candidates and discloses candidates mental vigilance and alertness ,initiative,self confidence,and a lot of other mental and physical qualities.

As result of successful interview of a few minutes of any person may blessed him  to win an honorable and  decent career.It may include him in the list of qualified candidates to that of selected candidates or even from the bottom of such a list to upper position and consequently to comparatively better services.Contrary to this  , a little bit of lapse or deficiency or absurdity  may turn the scale against him.
