AMAZING SENTINEL SATELLITE LAUNCHED
World struck with wonder to hear this amazing news in the history of science and technology that Europe's ,for the first time, multi billion-euro Earth observation program has launched from the area of French Guiana.This sentinel known as ''Sentinel-2B which consist of a camera of large size and this camera has ability to capture all type of images of land surfaces including coastal water in visible as well as infrared light.More over this space craft is identical to Sentinel-2A which is already in orbit.After its flown it would be at 180 degree apart in order to capture full map of earth and it would be complete in all respect even cloud permitting. This sentinel at the desire and discretion of European Union's Copernicus environmental monitoring program,constitute the specific space segment. In order to obtain critical information regarding the state of planet a suite of sensors is being lofted over in the forth coming few years,not only this it will collect the data required pertaining to the EU policies.This sentinel is very important for urban planning along with air quality and also glacier retreat.
The purpose and object of both these sentinels (2A-2B) are almost same-to provide picture resource for multiple use.their images are quite understandable.According to the statement of director of Earth observation at the European space ''They are the heart beat due to the images which are most easily understandable''The ejection of this.The mission Manager of Sentinel-2 space craft claimed that we will gradually obtain the reference orbit, 786 km altitude,with in forth coming two weeks.Further he added that at an early of June we will be in the commissioning phase and at that time we will be in a position to produce lots of data and almost in October we should be in full constellation readiness condition.
The said space craft will fire images first into the sky towards geostationary satellite that will ultimately bounce to the ground,it is a 10 minute spell for each orbit.Huge number of users have interest in these images and majority of the users have even registered to see these images.As regard the sentinel-1A during its commencement period there were huge products of sizing from 8GB to 9GB per file which was very difficult to down load this huge data.Now 2.7 million product was down loaded in the last two month. In order to decrease the revisit time to earth Sentinels are designed in such a way that they can fly in pairs instead of single.The structure of Sentinel-1 which is basically radar platform and provided with the duo fully operational in its respective orbit .

(b) Urban---It defines the Planning city along with wide infrastructure improvements
(c) Forests--- It is pertaining to the checking de- or re-forested areas for treaty purposes etc.
(d) Biodiversity---It indicates the habitats where wildlife exist.
(e) Health--- It is about the conditions regarding disease spread.
(f) Water---associated with water body extents for flood assessments.
(g) Disaster--- It is regarding the damage maps following major earthquakes.
(h) Cryosphere---It is all about snow fields and glacier melting.
COPERNICUS PROGRAM: It is a EU project which is being obtain with the cooperation of European space Agency.Basically its purpose is to get earth monitoring data from the space as well as from the ground.According to this program they will utilize space craft for their purpose and object.It will be very helpful for climate change study.earth quakes,flood and natural calamity and disaster.More over this will be very beneficial to implementation of EU policies regarding the fishing quotas.
